sworn enemy - maniacal

many moons ago i bought a copy of sworn enemy's 2nd full length 'the beginning of the end' (click the tag to read about it), so it took me over ten years to expand my collection.

'maniacal' is the follow-up and was released in 2007. m-theory audio took it upon theirselves to finally press this album to vinyl. 300 copies on 'calm-before-the-storm' blue vinyl made. 2023.

the aggression sessions

don't really know anymore how i got caught up buying this. liked the depression sessions split from 2016 with great songs/covers by thy art is murder and the acacia strain. i could live with the fit for an autopsy part, too.

with malevolence replacing tas this time, it's two bands i don't care for. plus the taim songs aren't even on par compared with their last contribution. might end up selling it again. nuclear blast. 2023.

first vinyl pressing of the debut of italy's finest hideous divinity. i didn't know it before and boy, did i miss something. i get huge nile vibes listening to it which is a real good thing in my book. the alien green vinyl looks pretty oxblood red somehow... unique leader records. 2012/2022.
