a real gem from the boston straight edge hardcore scene. didn't think there were enough people who care to give this the vinyl treatment. fine folks over at triple-b records did care and the record looks real nice. 500 copies on clear splatter vinyl. included my old cd copy in the picture. 2005/2021.

ill niño - revolution/revolución

one of the albums i played a lot as a teen. that first full length of ill niño was in heavy rotation on my discman back in the day, haha. real gone music issued this album for the first time on vinyl with 1.500 copies on dark green splatter vinyl. originaly out on roadrunner records. 2001/2021.

obituary - world demise

listenable records from france released quite a few pearls of osdm from back in the early nineties over the last couple of years. so they did with almost the first half of the obituary back catalogue. i was eyeing the fourth album of the band in particular. double white vinyl out of 500 copies. 2021.

droid - terrestrial mutations

usually thrash metal is not really my cup of tea. there are a few exceptions like kreator but not too many. that being said, i have to say that droid is very much my cup of tea. mostly because of their heavy progressive edge and, of course, the outer space themed lyrics. these canadians don't seem to be around anymore, what a shame. 400 copies on purple/white marble vinyl. shadow kingdom records. 2018.

cerebral rot - excretion of mortality

swampy, murky, filthy death metal with a doomy edge to it. cerebral rot really carved a niche for theirselves with their unique trademark sound. of course, the disgusting lyrics and visuals only add to the sensation that is this band. hot pink and red merge released by 20 buck spin records in 2021.

hideous divinity - simulacrum

everlasting spew records from italy finally did this album justice by pressing a more than worthy colour vinyl run. i chose the "embalmer" version out of 167 copies. the album was originally released in 2019 by century media.

ophidian i - desolate

boy, what a tech death debut from these dudes from iceland. didn't see that coming at all, did you? anyway, season of mist coming with the heat on transparent blue marble vinyl. this is a mispress including the album without the vocal track. after the label realised that, they pressed the record again correctly ;-)
